Taking Leave may mean the End of your Job – Solutions?

Posted on Updated on

by Fidelis Spies

“It’s like a bachelor party for your career! Or having someone buying you dinner and then assume that means he’s owed sexual intercourse! Anyway, apparently telling people to take a vacation before they come to work for you is becoming a thing now.

Paid Leave Labor Vacation Living Income GuaranteedWriting this week in Slate, Will Oremus reports on this phenomenon, telling the tale of Jason Freedman, the CEO of a San Francisco-based commercial real estate search engine company called 42 floors. Freedman offers what he calls paid “pre-cations” to new hires, explaining, “It’s like, ‘Yeah, have a great time! And when you get back here, work your ass off.’” The point is, that sounds terrible.

As Oremus points out, we are already a vastly overworked nation. We put in considerably more hours than we did a generation ago — and most of us are doing it while facing what the New York Times last year called “flatlined” wages. A new study released last month revealed that Americans take only about half the vacation time they’re entitled to, missing out on the equivalent of “over 500 million” days off a year. Why? Because they’re afraid of repercussions, an anxiety reinforced by what MarketWatch notes is “company culture and lack of encouragement from management to take time off.” People are reluctant to take vacations for fear they’ll be revealed as expendable.”

Well now, what a problem we have here. In the article above you can see how taking paid leave is something that most people simply cannot do, because it could mean the end of their job. Getting a job is a big problem in this world and when you do have a job you will do anything to keep it, because you need the money to survive in this world.

This gives employers power over the employees. There are many people looking for jobs, so if you are deemed replaceable you will simply be replaced. So if it means you have works your ass off every day and not take any leave then there is nothing you can do about it unless you risk getting fired. This leads to bad work situations and over worked, overstressed employees. This will only get worse unless something changes.

A solution that will end this fear and anxiety of losing a job if you take your leave which you are in fact entitled to would be the Living Income Guaranteed. This will give power to the employees and create a dignified work environment. With the minimum wage being double the Living income people will have enough money to live. This will stop the abuse of employees, because they could simply leave and find a better place to work so the employer will need to treat his employees with care to keep them working there.

Workers will feel supported and cared for by their employers, which will result in individuals that no longer feel pressured and enforced to only be a profit-making machine, but will feel happy and content to realize that their work is being truly remunerated and that their time and contribution to the corporation is being valued as the life-time investment it actually is. A well remunerated individual will create a happier and fulfilled society that is no longer afraid of not having sufficient money to feed their family, it will be the beginning of a new era of quality work that dignifies the lives of human beings that genuinely desire to improve their lifestyles.

The Theory of Economy

Posted on Updated on

by Viktor Person

supply-and-demand-01-resized-600This summer I had the mixed pleasure of reading a course in Microeconomics and International trade. In microeconomics the primary focus of the researchers is to establish ‘What is the market really doing and why?’ – and this is attempted to be done utilizing mathematical formulas; primarily utilizing the famous graph where two lines cross each-other, the one line sloping downwards (demand) and the other sloping upwards (supply) – and where they meet each other = that’s apparently the optimal price for the product and the optimal quantity of that product in that given market.

What first struck me as being fascinating about these theories was that they seldom predicted how the market would behave in reality, and neither could they be verified with empirical evidence – and most of the time the authors of the my books where busy trying to find reasons and various viewpoints as to why these theories wasn’t working “as they should” – and how they probably did work but it was just that the inventors missed to take into consideration some important factors and variables.

Though, what was the most fascinating about this entire area of research, was how there was this complete worship to the idea that lower prices = higher consumer satisfaction; and that apparently for a market to be functional, what is required is that we produce as many products as possible, to the lowest prices possible, because then the consumers are able to buy as much as possible, and then we’re apparently okay, happy, and have a fruitful existence here on earth.

Obviously, when I looked at these ideas, I silently chuckled – because the logical flaw of this assumption is glaringly simple = the producers are the consumers! YES – that’s the secret of economy and the reason why we’ve got so many unemployed in this day and age is because we’ve failed to understand that when a product is cheaper, someone at the other end gets less money, which in turns means that a (employee) consumer gets less money, which in turns means that the producer gets less customers = and it all ends up in such a way that most lose but a few that manage to reap the monopoly profits of those very low-priced products – because they’ve priced out everyone else.

It’s clear that we have to develop a new way of looking at economics, and that mathematics and statistics isn’t the way to go – no – we actually require to look at the actuality of what is going on. For example, poverty, what is the actuality of poverty? Why does poverty exist to begin with? It’s not a matter of mathematics, rather it’s a matter of seeing what is behind everything in this world – and that is MONEY – money that in itself is a completely innocent creation meant to be but a way of distributing goods and services to where they are required and wanted the most; but in our current system – money has become a point of control – where those that are already rich and on top of things with all possible means make sure the keep those stricken by poverty in place – else we wouldn’t anymore have a functional slave labor force that can produce all of our various gadgets and other mechanics of entertainment.

Thus, what we must ask ourselves, and economists more importantly, is why have we never used our knowledge to produce a sustainable system where all of us are able to create a life that is dignified, cool and enjoyable? What is required for us to do that? MONEY – and what do we need to bring through such money into this world? Resources – so what is then the solution – the real economic master plan as to how to create a world that would be sustainable and practical for all its inhabitants? To agree that we share the resources – at least the basic and most essential resources – those that we MUST HAVE in order to live.

Thus, I stand behind the Living Income Guaranteed – which is a functional, effective and sustainable way of creating a new world for all people where money will be shared – and for those economists that want to make a difference – I suggest that you investigate this concept and bring your knowledge to the table and help to create something from which we can all benefit!

Closing the Achievement Gap with Living Income Guaranteed

Posted on Updated on

Various studies show that early language acquisition plays a major role in setting the stage for a child’s future achievement course.

By the age of 24 months, one can already gauge by the size of the child’s vocabulary, how smoothly the child’s cognitive development will unfold and whether the child may face a challenging learning and growth trajectory. As early as 18 months of age, a lag may already become apparent between children of the same age in terms of their information processing capacities. From there – the gap either grows or remains proportionately consistent. How well the child’s processing skills and vocabulary are established as babies and toddlers, in turn plays a detrimental role in whether or not the child will reach its full potential at adulthood.

What causes a child’s processing skills and acquired vocabulary to be underdeveloped? The direct answer would be: How much a child is being talked to and the range of vocabulary used when being talked to. However, the condition that rules this variable (how much one is being talked to and what range of words) is the socio-economic environment that the child finds itself within.

Parents from mid to higher levels of socioeconomic status generally have more time to spend with their children and they themselves possess a richer vocabulary than parents of lower socioeconomic status.

Closingtheachievementgap

Parents coming from a lower economic status may be working several jobs to make ends meet and have a more limited vocabulary. Having to cope with more stress and anxiety due to every day struggles can lead one to be more taciturn. All of this adds up to less words from a limited range being spoken towards the child(ren).

Besides being externally disadvantaged due to lower economic status limiting future opportunities, children are also internally disadvantaged in how well they will be able to exploit the opportunities that will be available to them because of stunted vocabulary acquisition and cognitive skills.

“By 2 years of age, these disparities are equivalent to a six-month gap between infants from rich and poor families in both language processing skills and vocabulary knowledge,” Fernald said. “What we’re seeing here is the beginning of a developmental cascade, a growing disparity between kids that has enormous implications for their later educational success and career opportunities.”

As discussed in other blogs (Living Income Guaranteed and Raising Children, The Self-Perpetuating Cycle of Homelessness and Living Income Guaranteed), the implementation of a Living Income Guaranteed will provide an opportunity for parents to stay at home and take care of their children, or have financial security knowing that any job would at least provide an income at double the Living Income rate.

In fact, a survey polling to find out how many mothers would want to stay at home ‘if money was not an object’, shows that 75% of new mothers would want to stay at home, 12% would not want to be a full-time mother and 13% did not know what they would do. Of those mother who did go back to work, just over half indicated that the reason for doing so was because money was tight, and 3% indicated that they had to go back because pregnancy had left them in serious debt.

uSwitch-Money-Mums-Infographic

With the implementation of a Living Income Guaranteed we can raise the conditions necessary to stimulate, enhance and foster our children’s development and utmost potential. By creating a financially stable environment, parents are able to tend to both a child’s physical and mental needs to ensure optimal growth and well-being. Financial worries put aside with a Living Income safety net, promotes peace of mind for parents which leads to better parent-child relationships and reducing the incidence of conflict at home .

By having this foundation in place, we set the stage for success in our children’s education and future careers.

The Self-Perpetuating Cycle of Homelessness and Living Income Guaranteed

Posted on Updated on

The following article lays out the account of one mother’s ‘bad luck’ after the other: Homeless Mother Gets Job Interview But Doesn’t Have Childcare, Ends Up In Jail

She is a mother of two, homeless, unemployed and finds herself having a chance for a job. Not having a home, she cannot leave her children at home while she attends the job interview. Not having money, she is unable to afford childcare while she attends the job interview. So she does the only thing she can do in her situation: leave the children in the car with the window cracked open while she attends the job interview.

Taylor was charged with two felony counts of child abuse for leaving her six-month-old and two-year-old in a car with the windows cracked last Thursday for at least 45 minutes as she sat in an interview for a potential job. She told officers that she was homeless, so she couldn’t leave her children in the house, and she had no one else to watch them.”

Yes, what she did was dangerous, creating conditions which could have led to a fatal outcome. But like the article states: “Taylor’s story raises an important issue: People in her situation are left with only bad options. “Just as she set up the conditions for possible harm for her children by leaving them in the car, so is the system and society guilty as a whole for creating the conditions in which people’s hands are forced to make ‘bad decision’ and forced to choose between lesser evils.

Once landed in a bad position, it can be hard to move out if it, as one’s dysfunctional reality is set up to maintain itself as just that: dysfunctional.

Homeless people also struggle with more than child care when looking for work — they can have difficulty finding an internet connection to apply to job or transportation to get to interviews, clean clothes, or a place to put their belongings. And once they land a job offer, they can run into even more problems, especially if they don’t have things like an ID or birth certificate. It’s a vicious cycle; not having a job perpetuates homelessness, which can in turn make it even harder to find a job.”

break the cycle

What this story tells us, is that in how we are currently running our society and economic lives – you need money in order to make money. If you do not have money to clothe yourself, feed yourself, take care of basic hygiene, have a roof over your head; then it is very unlikely that you will be able to move into a position that will enable you to attain a dignified living standard. It’s kind of a Catch-22 in the land of the economically underprivileged.

How do we break this self-perpetuating cycle? With a Living Income Guaranteed of course.

If this woman would have had a Living Income disposable to herself, she would a) have had the option to stay at home and take care of her kids or b) pay for child care to give her the time and space to get employment. Not only is a Living Income Guaranteed instrumental to ending homelessness, a manifestation which puts to question our solidarity and should really have been eradicated already ages ago; it is also a cost-saver.

“It is cheaper to give homeless people a home than it is to leave them on the streets. That’s not just the opinion of advocates working to end homelessness, nor is it the opinion of homeless people themselves. It is a fact that has been borne out by studies across the country, from Florida to Colorado and beyond. The latest analysis to back up this fact comes out of Charlotte, where researchers from the University of North Carolina Charlotte examined a recently constructed apartment complex that was oriented towards homeless people.Moore Place opened in 2012 with 85 units. Each resident is required to contribute 30 percent of his or her income, which includes any benefits like disability, veterans, or Social Security, toward rent. The rest of the housing costs, which total approximately $14,000 per person annually, are covered by a mix of local and federal government grants, as well as private donors. In the first year alone, researchers found that Moore Place saved taxpayers $1.8 million. These savings comes from improvements in two primary areas: health care and incarceration.”
From: It Saves Millions To Simply Give Homeless People A Place To Live

Both humanitarian and economic motives for a better world, come together within a Living Income Guaranteed. We can reduce social misery, improve human dignity and security and boost the economy – all in the same package. We’d be crazy not to.

Will the Living Income Guaranteed cause Inflation?

Posted on Updated on

One must first understand Inflation. Many years ago I asked a big shot in the bank a definition for inflation and his answer was quite incoherent, it’s like a matter of opinion. So we should rather look at the facts, than the opinions and justifications of ‘What inflation is?’and ‘Why does it exist?’

In a way if we go back in history, inflation can be seen as an extension of the cruelty of man. When there is not enough, then the so-called ideology of ‘Supply and Demand’ allows the greedy to increase prices and sell to the highest bidder, ensuring that the ideology that ‘money is power’ becomes ingrained in the human consciousness.

Another perspective of inflation is that it is an extension of Public Relations and Advertising. In advertising the real picture is photoshopped to make it more aligned with the mind, the mind becomes controlled by these images, goes into association and a relationship of comparison and then judges reality according to these pictures. This mechanism creates desires which produce the same type of supply and demand where the human who is controlled by these images and propaganda will do whatever they can to buy a product that is being inflated in its image.

Now the clever thing about this inflation of products by Public Relations is that you have to read the small print. The big print is all the fake and false images – the small print contains all the legal truths. The real truth about anything is always the small print because there you know you get the information about side effects, warranties, planned obsolescence, all the negative stuff is in the small print while all the positive stuff is in the big print. This is the same nature of positive thinking: it inflates the image on the positive side, it diminishes the negative side causing extreme imbalance that eventually reflects itself in general society as poverty and wealth.

Let’s look at another point of inflation: the deliberate inflation of prices to increase the profits of the corporation. As mechanization has been increasing – which should simply function as the replacement of labor, not the replacement of employment: more and more jobs are lost.Yet, prices are still being inflated. And now we sit with massive unemployment, inflated pricing, a problem with supply and demand because people don’t have money to buy and consume. So despite an appearance of inflation, the economic reality is that the economies are shrinking and not inflating– and you sit with the problem that your real value of a product has been lost a long time ago, because the real value has been labor all along.. And because the ideas of saving, competition, inflating the corporation and the war for a monopolized control has become the way of the world — the reality of what really exists is no longer easily accessible because: all we have is our inflated images.

So obviously if we have to keep following this distorted view of reality which is justified through the word ‘inflation,’ which is just a model of statistics – and you can check out the previous blog about the uselessness of statistics (
A Living Income Guaranteed is the BIG Issue) the statistics just inflate the idea that you know what you’re talking about, so statistics is just another form of inflation, it’s just Public Relations. It’s just a fake and false image and likeness with which the actual data is distorted so that those that benefit from having control and access to resources through this inflated view can justify why it is that the things are the way they are, why poverty is so immense and expansive… And so you’ll have the curious bizarre thing happening, for instance that the corporate top dogs and the loyalty they buy from people that are in the corporation – as well as their income – has been skyrocketing for at least the last 30 years. So these massive profits are used to buy loyalty which protects the top dogs. This same illness is now part of the government where people’s loyalty is bought so that they can protect the wealth of the few while the majority of people on Earth are existing in one or two dollars a day – and that’s quite okay apparently because the image is inflated to say that “That is enough for them to make a living.”

If we do not change the system, this Inflation point will have an effect. Obviously if the Living Income Guaranteed becomes a reality, we have to change the economic model: it’s not working, it has a fake and false inflated image by economists that are not worthy of the word ‘Economist’ because they are not managing and researching the ecology, the ecosystem of the world to ensure that every human being’s basic Human Rights are being protected.

Therefore everything you know about ‘Economics’ as several people that were brave enough to stand up have said “you have just being been lied to” –  Economy/the Economists, the ideas of Economics are all just a lie and so is inflation – the image is inflated, the truth and the data are not real and the human being has been mislead to believe that their data should not be in the hands of a central agency to actually create a stable environment. And so, the corporation and the propagandists can say that they’re doing and acting according to the will of the people, because the problem of inflation even exists there, the specific ideas and conspiracies have been inflated deliberately to create this image and likeness that the human’s will is apparently democratically being adhered to – It’s all in the image and likenesses of inflation.

For this all to work, you better study the Living Income Guaranteed proposal where we show what is necessary to be in place for a balanced society, where we show and expose all the inflations and propagandas and misdirection, where we show that at the end, even those in the current BIG proposals only have inflated egos – so inflation is really everywhere. Nowadays we even have inflation in terms of what it does to the body because the food is no longer supportive of the body, because Health is not really on the agenda of those that make policy,it’s all about profit.

Inflation is a danger all around and unless we stop all inflation – which is just a mind job – and we get back to reality and work with actual data based on the physical, our economic balance on Earth will not be restored, we will not have an ecosystem that supports Life on Earth and that protects the Human Rights of Every Human Being.

Living Income Guaranteed: Basic Nutrition and Education

Posted on Updated on

The latest research into basic nutrition, the medical profession and the researches claim that poverty cannot be addressed until basic nutrition has been addressed. The research also indicates that the amount of children that die and/or suffer from malnutrition is much higher than reported.

What is lacking in this understanding is that Basic Nutrition is subject to Living Income. If there is no Living Income, there can be no Basic Nutrition. Neither can there be ‘basic education’ because Basic Nutrition is dependent on Basic Education, and Basic Education is dependent on Living Income. This is really easy to deduce and the repeated evidence – which is after all what science is based on – that is produced through the cycles that exist which is what a scientist measures, exists on earth forever and yet in spite of our claims of basic intelligence evolving, basic common sense seems to be going nowhere.

So, if you want to end poverty in the world, you’re going to have to sit down and work out for yourself on a piece of paper what Basic Nutrition is subject to:

  • Is it just existing or do you need ‘something’ before you get it?

So write down what is basic nutrition and then you write down what you need to get it per person, per family.

  • Then write out what Basic Nutrition is – meaning where do you get it from, you have to write down what is required, for you as Basic Education to be able to understand Basic Nutrition is.
  • Then, you write out what you require to have both Basic Education and Basic Nutrition and how you achieve that when there are no jobs available.

If you look at the latest figures of for instance Croatia, which is now becoming part of the European Union: 50% of the youth is unemployed and there are no jobs available; and they have no possibility of any changes in their future and they are the next generation of parents which are going to have children which are going to be subject to Basic Nutrition, but they don’t have Living Income. Now, will they not have sex because they have no Living Income or will they have sex and there will be children? Have a look at Africa, on average 50% and more of a country in Africa are without jobs. Even though unemployment is high – it doesn’t stop the fact that people will act within their basic nature and produce children. They will have no money, no Basic Income, no Basic Nutrition and no Basic Education – then the children suffer.

Those with money do understand these problems but refuse to consider a system that can resolve the issue. Because once you have Basic Education in place – which will produce an understanding of Basic Nutrition – you’re going to have a change in the population growth and it’s going to go down! You don’t have to ‘cull’ the human to reduce population growth, you just need to educate them and give them a reason to live: Living Income Guaranteed. And, most of the evils in the world will go away by a simple application, a consideration to give to others as you would like to receive – you would like to have enough money, to have a decent life, to be able to give yourself and your children Basic Nutrition, to give yourself and your children the Basic Education and to have a basic happy lifestyle! Give that to everyone with Living Income Guaranteed, ensure that your political parties – or the ones that you join and that you vote for – embrace a Living Income Guaranteed and if you don’t have such a political party in your country: start one! It’s time to care.

Capitalism has always in times of great uncertainty and where the system was in melt down, moved towards war. If we want to prevent another World War, we need to sort out the ills of Capitalism which are based on the fact that there is a lack in consumption. This lack in consumption is causing a big problem with unemployment and is putting the profits of corporations under pressure, causing even more unemployment, causing more people without Basic Nutrition and Basic Education. This is all solved by one simple thing: Living Income Guaranteed, and we can Guarantee a Society that is Living in Balance.

Sedition and Media under Living Income Guaranteed

Posted on Updated on

There seems to be a misunderstanding about the word sedition. Sedition is to cause harm or to undermine a government. A government is the citizens representing themselves, no matter what system is utilized at the end of the day, which is what the government represents: the citizens. Therefore, any action that is taken to undermine the wellbeing of the citizens in a country – for instance causing poverty or diminishing resources, causing harm to the citizens of a country = that would be sedition and that is how it should be approached.

Sedition certainly is not when one exposes abuse by your government representatives that they should be held accountable and what they do should be transparent and therefore, one needs to re-look at the word ‘sedition’ carefully.

The media as a medium with which the citizens communicate and educate themselves to be effective in supporting each other to have a country that is economically and financially effective. The media should thus be owned by the people of the country and never only by certain individuals. No policy should ever be allowed that damages the country because to do that, is to in fact act in a way that is detrimental to the wellbeing of the country and by definition would be – if we have lawyers with some common sense – the premise for treason. And that is why the police force will exist, that’s why the commercial units will exist is to investigate those that do damage the Economy and to the Human Rights of the people. That’s what police’s purpose actually is, the purpose of the police is not to protect the rights of the wealthy, is to protect the rights of the citizen, to ensure that there is nothing that is happening that will cause unemployment that will cause people to live on the streets – that’s a crime!

We have a very strange criminology, justice, economic, political and an education system. Now teachers cannot even work out the basic common sense of what it is that they are supposed to teach the children, because our curricula are not designed to support Human Rights.

We have no lawyers standing-up and doing something about it, we have no economists standing-up. Instead we have all kinds of presentations and proposals to bring about a better world without any clear understanding of how the system really functions, which must even place into question all our activists.

The propaganda of the media and all the systems that now manage the ideologies of the mind, are deliberately diving the human into the idea of ‘free choice’ and into the idea that apparently ‘you must have your own opinion.’ Opinion is never fact, study facts – don’t ever allow yourself to form an opinion, an opinion is never real: it is an illusion – facts are real.

We are currently existing under a form of a very strange capitalist democracy where we don’t have majority rule, we have minority rule. And this is done through propaganda where the actual scientific research, the actual considerations and common sense necessary to manage a country and ensure that its citizens are well cared for, are deliberately misdirected. This is why for instance, the media should belong to the citizens, because the media is the medium through which the education of the citizens of a country happens, to ensure that they act responsibly. As an example, to vote for minority rights that are going to cause starvation and poverty is not going to solve the problem. One should vote for Human Rights that ensure that there is an equitable distribution of value that ensures that everyone has a decent life.

We have to really question the quality of our leadership, the quality of our academics and our researchers, the quality of our media and the quality of our economists – they all seem to be deliberately creating a world of poverty, identifying ‘autonomous forces’ to be what determines prices, which is what creates a lack of understanding so that the majority of the population keeps on missing what’s really going on. The reality is that only a few are making and being protected by all the money, while the majority is lost in translation when it comes to understanding economic theories that lack practical and tangible common sense.

Within a Living Income Guaranteed System we suggest that this word sedition is what it truly means: anyone that undermines the wellbeing of the citizens to bring harm to people in general, causing them financial distress, causing the economy to not be balanced and effective to support the people, purely for the purpose of making profit = that is sedition and treason, and must be treated as such.

Basic Income Guaranteed and Sedition

Living Income Guaranteed and Public Relations

Posted on Updated on

It is suggested to read the view of Noam Chomsky which is quite to the point and calls the public relations officers the ‘experts of producing lies.’ Now, if you have ever been in a business where you planned it and you have to work out the advertising and the marketing of it, you will know you’re looking for words to describe the product emotionally and you stay away from the facts. Because the facts are the few things you have put together within the product to produce something unique that can compete with other products and there is obviously always something ‘missing.’ That’s why for instance a product’s warranty is only for one year now because, in one year’s time – that’s what the warranty implies – the product will break. Everyone is kept in the illusion that apparently there is some improvement in the product and that’s why there will be a ‘new version’. But if you have to take away the outside picture and you look at the inside – take a car, for instance – it is essentially the same that it has been before. It maybe got a new name, a new color and here and there a new feature – but you’re paying a lot more and it’s not going to last you and you’re made to believe that this car is a ‘new model’ or this cellphone is a ‘better model.’

If you look at the timeframe you’ll notice that nowadays they are releasing a new cellphone basically every few months. You must understand that in the design stage, when they release the previous cellphone you paid a fortune for, they already have designed and planned another five models! They were ready with ‘the new stuff’ – they could’ve just as well not wasted so many resources and give you the best cellphone, but no! They need you to buy because there is a problem in the capitalistic system where it is said that ‘there is not enough consumption’, ‘there’s not enough spending’ but that’s not the real problem.

The real problem is: there’s not enough money because the more and more products are outsourced for instance moving it – let’s take America as an example – to China producing it cheaper. Leaving whole cities in America devastated with people without jobs, then importing the product and selling it cheaper under the justification that ‘now the product will be cheaper, so you should be able to afford it’. This is done without calculating the loss of money due to the loss of jobs that happened. This creates a situation where less people end up being able to buy the product, there’s thus less money and the corporations have to go to the point where they become a monopoly and destroy the competition.  Because if they don’t = they simply can’t survive because there are simply not enough costumers with money with the low profit margins that they’re working on. If we look at this same aspect within the food industry, we have exactly the same problem. That is why labeling for instance is never really specific, you never get real detailed instructions and you never get the truth about how the products are manufactured and/or produced.

Now with Living Income Guaranteed, the total scene will change. Public Relations will be what it should have always been: explaining to the public the relationship they will have with the product and how the product will benefit them, how and why the product was made in a better way to last longer and to be of greater service, why the product is real value for money. Public Relations will be like the person that stands and ensures that the public knows everything, that there are no secrets and is thus the face of the corporation – that is how capitalism is supposed to function, no more lies and deceit.

Public Relations as it exists now, should be banned from politics because politics is and should be where the actual policy of the political party is explained in simple language that every voter can understand and that public policy should be the first thing on the agenda for implementation; and if the political party does not implement it, immediately a referendum should be held on whether they should remain in power under new public policy or not – that is democracy. One cannot change one’s word or go back on your word and get away with it, but the public has accepted this as ‘normal’ – politicians lie, they never keep their word and that’s ‘okay.’

In many cases the corporations are so desperate to keep going that they spend lots of money to ensure that the politicians realize one simple thing “The corporations are supplying a lot of jobs and therefore the laws must protect the corporations to protect jobs” – that’s the justification used. Therefore it’s not so much only the amount of money that goes to the political party, it is about the voters that are able to vote, because those with money = they’re able to vote; those on the streets = they can’t vote because there’s normally a problem: they don’t have a fixed vote, they don’t have the necessary documents or they don’t have the money to go and vote – very simple.

Public Relations must ensure that those that are on the fringe and not necessarily controlled by a corporate or a governmental job, are convinced by promises and hope that the political party is going to produce something, for example that they will ensure there are enough jobs available; if that is achieved, the political party will win. Unfortunately all of this is done under the disguise of competition, under the premise of monopoly, the game we were taught as children, absolutely brutal. And then the human factor is taken out and is called ‘market forces,’ ‘supply and demand,’ the ‘invisible hand’ that determines the flow of the economy, which are deliberate and made up excuses. Bause if you start studying the Living Income Guaranteed proposal as we are putting it together, place what we are sharing on paper and start to assess how one places this together: you’re going to notice that a workable model with enough money that ensures that the corporation makes money is possible, where everybody has got an income and as such, there will be sufficient consumption; this means we can have better products, the environment can be protected, we can produce more effective products, people are not forced to go into all kinds of forced and slave labor situations.

When everything is produced to last longer at a price that is sufficient to ensure the survival of the corporation and to ensure the Living Income Guaranteed of each person, we have a sound and healthy economic system. It’ll also make a massive difference to our food, because a lot of the foods that are allowed to be on the shelves are purely there, placed by people looking at ways to make money to entice the consumer. The fact that the food overall and in many cases is not really healthy, is covered up by ‘bright pictures’ ‘shiny words’ and that’s backed up by the spirituality of the person that is developed and particularly designed by Public Relations. Creating a consumption industry based on ‘like’ and ‘love,’ getting you emotionally involved, ensuring that psychology claims that emotion is important and valid without any information or research into how the mind actually functions, because if the mind is understood = brainwashing cannot happen and the current system cannot continue – this is known! Just not by the people that’s been brainwashed, they don’t understand even why they buy stuff, they feel like ‘they like it,’ they like how it looks, they like what it does, they don’t care that there is engineered redundancy within products just like there is engineered redundancy within the employment sector and everything is driven by a simple thing called profit, and that there’s no real competition in the markets because: “Those with more money will always win.” Go back to your monopoly game, that’s how it works! You’re in this game now.

Our economic system should not be called ‘Capitalism,’ it should be called ‘Monopoly’. And you may have no chance in the system, but you have a chance to become part of a political party that champions the Living Income Guaranteed. If there is no such party established in your country: you start one and you become politically active visiting the voters door to door, selling to them a new economic system, showing that their vote counts, understanding that democracy means 1+1+1 = every vote counts only once, so we need a majority vote, a majority of people that must understand how Living Income Guaranteed functions and why the current economy isn’t functioning for everyone. You also want to explain to them why there are big problems in the future with for instance pensions. One must act now and not wait once the whole system starts collapsing and new laws are made and people are marginalized and you don’t see the suffering and poverty, because we may be one of those suddenly without any support, having nowhere to go.

It is important that one becomes practical, that we become an activist which is someone that takes action, that’s activism: acting on the information available when you see there’s a problem and help with the education of the public because you’re part of the public, so there is one voice and this one voice presents an answer that works for everyone! It is really simple if you get down to it. And at the very least if you can’t do anything, then at least make sure that your money supports a solution, it’s also an investment in your future.

Research the Living Income Guaranteed by the Equal Life Foundation, we are a non-profit organization that researches and puts together economic solutions and educational solutions. We look at how humanity can coexist in a way where there is real freedom, real individual freedom and real happiness and one thing we all know: happiness depends on money. With the Living Income Guaranteed: everybody will have a little piece of happiness.

Living Income Guaranteed with Labor as Interest

Posted on Updated on

With the nationalization of banks within the Living Income Guaranteed and the eradication of interest on money, the money supply will grow as a function of labor. The labor has a capital value that will increase the money supply. This has been effectively used by the Germans where they made labor one of the foundations of their economic system. And within the Living Income Guaranteed where you have a Living Income for all your basic needs and you have a guaranteed minimum wage that is double the Living Income Guaranteed, your labor value will be predetermined as part of every product and service produced.

This means that the input of your labor as value is reflected and revealed within the price of goods and services. This way each person will understand that part of the price is another person’s livelihood, and that as you give = you will receive. Labor then becomes part of the economic value system, part of the production cost – which must be valued sufficiently to be able to support the laborer.

Labor is the action of the human with a measurable value which will be like the accumulation of interest and you’ll have a compound interest effect, which will have the effect of an ever expanding economy, ensuring that everyone in the country has sufficient support to have a dignified life. This is a fascinating point that economists should have adopted long ago, but unfortunately labor has been demonized instead of realizing that that is the actual only real interest that can exist within a system based on money.

Living Income Guarantees Business Profits

Posted on Updated on

For the Living Income Guaranteed to work we require an economic model that must be efficient to follow very specific regulations. Just as one would regulate food and certify it for instance as ‘safe for consumption,’ we have to apply the same principle and certify businesses as ‘safe for the economy’. Within this, one will have to establish ways to ensure that businesses are not built on the ideology of competition but rather on the principle of profit and of quality.

Therefore pricing will have to be certified to be sufficient and effective to ensure the minimum wage at least, is paid to the employees, the business owner makes a profit and the resources bought are paid for at a price that ensures such profit. We have to also ensure that the business is compliant and the movement of sales tax/ value added tax is efficient so that both the government and the Living Income Guaranteed is effective; and then the consumer will be able to buy from businesses that ensure a good quality product, knowing that they are participating in an economic system that is taking care of each one’s individual dignified living with Living Income Guaranteed. Doing this will also ensure that things like poverty, debt and the many psychological issues that develop because of stress around money, start to disappear from society.

This also implies that the true supply and demand will be based on quality and preference wherein the necessary research should be done and facilitated before one brings out a new product on the market. This is the part where psychology and public relations also play a role to ensure the person assesses the product as something that they possibly may be interested in acquiring; this ensures you’re not wasting resources on a ‘potentially successful’ product, and instead you secure your investment once you have your market analysis results,  an effective presentation of a product that will have an assured market with sufficient demand which you will supply – so it is demand first, then supply.

Thus a clearly defined and estimated market share is established and cross-referenced according to the income levels available. This means assessing whether the available amount of money that is in the consumer’s budget is in fact realistic so that the business can work effectively. This is how one will ensure profit and sustainability instead of investing on opening businesses that are guaranteed to fail, just because the proper research was not done prior to running it. This effective business planning will ensure that sufficient profit is made as well as providing a good rate of success that will satisfy the business and the population in an equal manner: everybody wins!
